O primeiro álbum solo do cantor, multinstrumentista e compositor Stephen Stills conhecido por seu trabalho com as bandas Buffalo Springfield e Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, lançado em 1970. Considerado por uma revista especializada com um dos 100 maiores guitarristas da história do rock. O álbum que leva o nome do autor conta com uma série de músicos bem conhecidos, como por exemplo, David Crosby e Graham Nash, nos vocais. Ringo Starr na bateria em duas faixas sob o pseudônimo de "Richie". O álbum é o único da história a contar com dois dos maiores gênios da guitarra, que tal Eric Clapton e Jimi Hendrix em participações especiais. Mas Hendrix morreu antes do lançamento e Stills dedicou o álbum a "James Marshall Hendrix." O disco veio mostrar aos críticos que ele era tão talentoso quanto os companheiros Davi Crosby, Graham Nash e Neil Young.  Stephen Stills provou que era capaz de fazer outras belas canções além de “For What It's Worth” hino da contracultura que fez quando estava no Buffalo Springfield. Segundo Neil Young “Ele é um gênio musical”. No álbum têm um pouco de tudo, blues, folk e baladinhas deliciosas, é mais um disco fundamental!
